Mobilized Soldiers Offered Contract: Million Payments During Service.
New Motivation for Ukrainian Military
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian servicemen may receive new incentives for service if the government supports the idea of transitioning mobilized fighters to contracted service. Under this proposal, fighters could sign a two-year contract and receive significant financial reward, which would be paid monthly during this period.
According to the concept, mobilized soldiers would be offered to sign a contract, for example, for two years, for which they would be entitled to additional monetary motivation. As an example, a member of parliament mentioned a sum of two million hryvnias. These funds would not be paid in a lump sum but distributed in equal parts over the entire term of the contract and added monthly to the basic salary of the soldier, which depends on their position and rank.
President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine would turn to Western partners for financial assistance to cover these expenses. People have become the main resource for defense, and the majority of funding is based on them.
The introduction of a new motivation system aims to increase the interest of servicemen in contracted service and improve their working conditions, which will positively affect the country's defense capability.
Supporting the military is an important step in strengthening Ukraine's defense in the current situation. Implementing this initiative could encourage more fighters to sign contracts, which, in turn, will improve the stability and combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
