The alert system for alarms will change in Cherkasy region.
A pilot project for air alert notifications is being launched in Cherkasy region
The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military-Civil Administration Ihor Taburets announced the launch of a pilot project to change the air alert notification system. The goal of this project is to improve the operations of enterprises and organizations, regardless of the duration and frequency of air alerts in the region.
Air alert signals will depend on drone threats
In case of threats from drones, air alert signals will be issued in the respective areas where there is potential danger or target. This will allow enterprises and organizations to better respond to threats. Information about air alerts related to air defense activities will be disseminated across districts.
However, regarding missile threats, the alert system will remain unchanged. Air alerts will be declared simultaneously across the entire territory of the region.
The head of the Regional Military-Civil Administration Ihor Taburets emphasized that all algorithms for responding to air alerts have been developed together with relevant services and military.
