Occupants shot a civilian in Donetsk: Prosecutor General's Office investigates the crime.
In the Donetsk region, a Russian soldier killed a peaceful resident who was trying to evacuate. The man received a fatal injury from the occupants. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Recently, a video appeared on a Telegram channel showing a civilian trying to leave the village of Udaşne. A serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces opened fire on the man who was moving along the roadside with a suitcase of personal belongings.
The Prosecutor General's Office stated that the investigation is being conducted regarding the war crime that led to the death of a person.
Employees of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office and the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine are conducting a pre-trial investigation to establish the circumstances of the incident and the individuals involved in this crime among the servicemen of the Russian Federation.
This incident is the third case of the shooting of civilians by the occupants in the Donetsk region in 2025. Earlier, the Ukrainian intelligence revealed how many military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died due to Russia's actions.
There was also a recorded case where Russian occupants killed an unarmed captive soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk region.
