The Russian troops illegally occupied the village of Novovasilivka in Donetsk

For a month, the fighters of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade repelled enemy attacks, which were mainly composed of units from the 27th Guards Motor Rifle Division. According to analysts, Russian forces were reinforced by special forces and groups from the GRU brigade. Despite this, Ukrainian defenders managed to withstand enemy assaults and hold out for some time. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently engaged in grueling battles in the area of Velyka Novosilka and have reported an increase in their military units and providing them with necessary resources for further combat.

Representatives of the operational-strategic group of troops 'Khortytsia' are considering possible changes in tactics and are developing action options in case the situation escalates.

It is worth noting that the distance from the front line to the borders of Dnipropetrovsk region has decreased to less than 5 km, and Russian troops have already reached the settlement of Udachne in Donetsk region.
