Actor Petro Velykyi Died at the Front.
Actor of the Chernihiv Shevchenko Dramatic Theater and soldier Petro Velykyi died at the front. This was reported by Oleksandr Maishiev, deputy director of the theater.

Petro Velykyi worked at the Chernihiv Dramatic Theater since 2004. He had over 35 roles, including Petro in the play 'Land', Pereleśnyk in 'Forest Song', Holokhvostyi in 'For Two Hares', and Karpo in 'The Kaidash Family'. He was 48 years old.
According to media reports, Velykyi died on November 15 at the Kursk front. The actor's death became known at the theater on November 19.
The theater's general director, Serhii Moisiienko, remembers Velykyi as a very talented person who was always dedicated to his work.
A leading master of the stage. The golden fund of the theater. A very tactful, very polite person... He took on any role. He came to work even with a high fever. He was very devoted to his profession.
Serhii Moisiienko also noted that Petro Velykyi applied for the title of 'Honored Artist' before the start of the Russian military aggression, but the military conflict interfered with this.
