Kharkiv region has approved the expansion of the mandatory evacuation zone
According to inkorr.com: The authorities of the Kharkiv region have made the decision to expand the mandatory evacuation for families with children living in the Kupiansk district. This concerns families with children in 27 settlements of the Velykoburlutska community, six settlements of the Vylkhivatska community, and seven settlements of the Shevchenkivska community. A total of 601 children are planned for evacuation, representing 409 families.
“Earlier, military officials reported that infantry groups of Russian troops are daily infiltrating Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region under civilian cover. Ukrainian military authorities warn of threats to the civilian population and urge people to evacuate.”
This decision is made in response to the deteriorating security situation in the Kupiansk district. The authorities of Kharkiv region also plan to expand the mandatory evacuation zone for families with children in the Velykoburlutsk direction.
Evacuation in other regions
Additionally, in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, more than 200 thousand people require evacuation. These are residents of dangerous zones where there is a risk of escalating the situation.
