A man was detained in Kyiv region for sexual violence against a child: he faces 10 years.

According to ТСН: The Kyiv regional police have charged a 34-year-old man with committing sexual crimes against a minor. He faces up to 10 years of imprisonment.

Law enforcement officials reported that during the night patrol of the city, they found a child with an adult man who was in a state of alcohol intoxication. It turned out that the man was acquainted with the boy.

The investigation established that at the end of November, the suspect, having taken advantage of the child's trust and the absence of bystanders, committed sexual violence.

The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Investigators under the procedural guidance of the Brovary regional prosecutor's office informed him of the suspicion under part 4 of Article 153 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are ongoing.

We remind you that earlier in the Zhytomyr region a case was registered when a 13-year-old teenager raped his 8-year-old sister at the insistence of a friend who wanted to get 'porn videos with her'.
