In Kursk Region, by Monday, October 28, 5 thousand soldiers of the DPRK will be transferred. It is likely these are military from the so-called elite unit. This was reported by The New York Times.

As noted, on Wednesday, October 23, the first North Korean troops arrived in Kursk Region. Since then, DPRK soldiers continue to be transferred. As the publication writes, "thousands of military personnel arrive daily".

Informed sources of the publication in Ukraine stated that by Monday, October 28, about 5 thousand North Korean troops will be assembled in Kursk Region.

According to the interlocutor, the troops are part of the elite unit of the Korean People's Army. They are transported from Vladivostok on large Il-76 transport planes to a military airfield in western Russia, and then taken to the combat zone.

Currently, DPRK troops are concentrated only in Kursk Region.

It is noted that North Korean soldiers have not yet entered battle. It is still unclear what role they will play on the front line and how they will change the dynamics on the battlefield. DPRK troops have not participated in any war since the 1950s, so there are questions about the capabilities of even their elite units.

Let us remind, the USA does not know the purpose of the DPRK troops' arrival in Kursk Region.

By the way, North Korea will soon send a second group of troops to Russia. This is written by Bloomberg with reference to documents from South Korean intelligence.

Let us remind, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, referring to intelligence data, stated that by October 27-28, the first DPRK military personnel will be used by Russia in combat zones.

The National Intelligence Service of South Korea believes that North Korea has already sent about 3 thousand military personnel to the Russian Federation to support Russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine.

As reported, North Korea's military reserves will enable it to conduct combat operations for three months. The South Korean Yonhap agency notes that DPRK factories have been operating at full capacity to meet the Russian armed forces' needs for weapons.
