According to ТСН: All necessary services are working at the site of the missile strike in the Lviv region to determine the nature of the damage - this is a standard procedure after attacks.
The head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maxim Kozytsky, reported that as soon as specialists complete their work, the results will be made public. He also noted the possibility of new threats at night.
Calls to residents
In case of an air alarm, residents of the region are asked to urgently go to shelters and follow safety rules.
“On January 8, 2026, around 23:30, a missile danger was declared across the entire territory of Ukraine due to the threat of the enemy using ballistic missiles from the 'Kapustin Yar' range. Explosions have been recorded in the Lviv region. The information is being clarified.”
It is also worth noting that earlier in Kyiv, an air alarm was declared, which may threaten the capital. Residents of Kyiv are advised to remain in shelters until the alarm is over.
The situation in the Lviv region and Kyiv requires vigilance from residents. In wartime, it is important to follow the instructions of local authorities and be prepared for any changes in the situation. Services continue to work on ensuring the safety of the population.
