A minibus with passengers overturned in Mykolaiv region: there are fatalities.
According to inkorr.com: A traffic accident involving a scheduled minibus occurred in the Bashtanka district. The police of the Mykolaiv region reported that there are fatalities and injured passengers as a result of the accident.
Details of the accident
The incident took place at night on August 31 on the road between the villages of Novyj Buh and Kazanka. The Volkswagen Crafter minibus carrying passengers collided at the intersection of the N-11 highway 'Dnipro – Mykolaiv' and a railway line.
According to preliminary data, there were 18 people in the bus. Three passengers died, including a teenager and two adults. The other injured were taken to the hospital for assistance.
Investigation and other tragedies
The authorities are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the event. Meanwhile, another traffic accident occurred in the Kirovohrad region, in which six people died. In Kyiv, a minibus crashed into a passenger bus due to a violation of safe distance.
The accident with the minibus in the Mykolaiv region left tragic consequences. The issue of increasing the number of traffic accidents remains one of the most pressing in the field of Ukrainian transport, causing concern among the public and authorities.
