A school cafeteria is planned to be built in Odesa region, which will also have a bomb shelter. The customer is the Tairove village council, and the cost of the works exceeds 160 million hryvnias.

Procurement details: The new cafeteria with a shelter will be built in the town of Tairove. It will have 90 seats and a shelter where, in case of an air alert, staff and children can take cover. The tender was announced on July 29. Documents can be submitted until August 13. The auction is scheduled for the same day. The works are to be completed by December 31, 2027. The expected cost of the project is 164,004,768 UAH.

Project provisions

According to the technical specifications, the contractor must perform a full cycle of construction and repair works:

  • preparation of the site and demolition of damaged structures;
  • earthworks and foundation construction;
  • installation of metal and reinforced concrete structures;
  • repair and insulation of the roof, installation of drains;
  • replacement of windows and doors;
  • finishing works - plastering, painting, tiling, flooring;
  • installation of engineering networks: electricity, heating, ventilation, water supply and sewage;
  • arrangement of the adjacent territory, including sidewalks and landscaping.

It is worth noting that almost 4 million UAH was allocated for the examination and passporting of the Khadjibey dam. We also reported that the repair of the Odesa-Reni highway has increased in cost by 12 million.

While planning the construction of a school cafeteria with a bomb shelter in Odesa region, the Tairove village council envisions not only diversifying nutrition for students but also ensuring their safety in emergency situations. The project includes a full range of construction and repair works that are to be completed by the end of 2027 at an estimated cost of over 160 million hryvnias.
