The incident occurred in the village of the Safyanivska community, where four assailants broke into the home of an 83-year-old woman and her 85-year-old husband. The attackers tied up the elderly couple and their 16-year-old grandson, demanding money. The criminals ultimately stole 12,000 hryvnias. Such targeted crimes against the elderly are a concerning trend in parts of Ukraine.
Police Action and Community Response
Among those detained are three brothers aged 16, 18, and 20, along with an 18-year-old acquaintance. The perpetrators were captured thanks to swift police action.
