A verdict has been issued in Zinkiv, Poltava region, regarding the evasion of mobilization by a resident of the city. The man received a summons and was deemed fit for service, but intentionally did not arrive at the designated time to the territorial center for recruitment to be sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The man did not appear at the TCK, although he was properly informedAccording to the materials of the case, the man was duly warned about the responsibility, but without valid reasons, he did not appear at the military unit. The accused had no legal grounds for postponement from mobilization. In court, he fully admitted his guilt, sincerely repented, explaining his absence by family circumstances and being on sick leave. He also requested consideration of the fact that he is raising a minor child on his own. The court, taking into account his sincere remorse, positive characteristics, absence of previous convictions, and the fact of raising a minor son, concluded that he could be corrected without isolation from society. By the court's verdict, the man was sentenced to three years of imprisonment under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (evasion of mobilization). At the same time, Article 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was applied - he was released from serving the sentence with probation, establishing a probation period of 1 year. He was imposed obligations to periodically appear before the probation authority, report changes in residence or work, and not leave Ukraine without permission. It is reminded that recently a scheme was exposed in the judicial system in Donetsk region providing military conscripts the opportunity to avoid mobilization. And in Poltava region, a woman was tried who attacked a police officer and bit him. Summary: In the court case in Zinkiv, a case of evasion of mobilization was considered, where the man was found guilty but under certain conditions he was granted a probation period with restrictions and obligations. The decision was made taking into account the circumstances of the case and the personal situation of the accused.
