Kyiv's Golden Gate Metro Station Hosts 'Map of Dreams' Interactive Installation.
'Map of Dreams: Ukraine' Interactive Installation
According to Novyny.live: A new interactive installation called 'Map of Dreams: Ukraine' has been unveiled at Kyiv's Zoloti Vorota (Golden Gate) metro station. This public art project, created in collaboration with the Ukrainian brand Enjoy The Wood, invites visitors to mark their hometowns on a map and share personal stories, aiming to foster unity through shared experiences. The Kyiv Metro is not just a transit system but a vital part of the city's cultural fabric, especially during times of national resilience.
The 'Map of Dreams: Ukraine' initiative will be open for public participation until March 31. The Zoloti Vorota station, renowned as one of Europe's most beautiful, provides a stunning backdrop with its unique mosaic panels and distinctive architectural charm.
“For the fourth consecutive year, the metro has remained a safe space for Kyiv residents and visitors—a place where the stories of people from across the country intersect. That is precisely why implementing such community projects here is so important.”

Kyiv's Infrastructure Development
In addition to this cultural project, Kyiv's metro system continues to expand, with plans to open a new station on the green line, tentatively named 'Mostytska.' This expansion will enhance connectivity for the city's residents and guests. The 'Map of Dreams' installation has quickly become a significant part of Kyiv's cultural scene, encouraging people to share memories and personal narratives.
By serving as a platform for community building, the 'Map of Dreams: Ukraine' underscores the importance of cultural identity amidst contemporary challenges. The ongoing metro development reflects Kyiv's active infrastructure growth, improving accessibility for all. Together, these initiatives may act as a catalyst for future cultural projects in the capital.
