In Sumy Region, forced evacuation of children from 90 settlements announced.

Sumy OVA and the Operational-Tactical Grouping "Siversk" signed an order to implement the forced evacuation of children and their parents from 90 settlements in the region. This was reported by the Sumy District Council.

Children and their parents or persons who replace them or their legal representatives will be forcibly evacuated from the urban territorial communities of Bilopilska and Vorozhba, the settlement territorial communities of Krasnopilsk and Khotinska, and the rural territorial communities of Yunakivska, Myropilska, and Mykolaivska in the Sumy district.

In the Bilopilska territorial community, evacuation will be conducted from Ryzhivka, Atinsky, Budky, Holyshivskoho, Stukalivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Bezsalivka, Neskuchne, Rohozne, Solianykіv, Stary Vyrky, Obody, Dіgtyarnyi, Pavlivka, Melyakyha, Volfyne, Katerynivka, Kysla Dubyna, Shpyli, Novoivanivka, Bilopillia, Sokhaniv, Novi Viok, Myrlogy, Huryinivka, Bublikov, Vasylivshchyna, Hyryn, Kandybyn, Morochі, Oleksenky, Stepanivka.

Children and parents from the city of Vorozhba will also be evacuated.

In the Krasnopilsk territorial community, they will evacuate from the settlements of Novodmytrivka, Riasne, Petrushivka, Turya, Mar'yina, Prokhody, Myropilske, Pokrovka, Stepok, Popivka, Hrabovske, Vysoke, Mezenivka, Mayeke, Slavhorod, Porozok, Verkhnyaya Pozhnya, Novooleksandrivka, Lisne, Zemlyane, Uhroyidy, Naumivka, Mykhailivka, Mykhailivske.

In the Yunakivska territorial community, the evacuation will affect Loknya, Basivka, Yunakivka, Sadky, Mohrytsia, Varachyne, Yablunivka, Korchakivka, Mala Korchakivka.

In the Myropilska territorial community, the evacuation concerns the settlements of Myropillia, Zapsillia, Velyka Rybicya, Hrunovka, Velykyi Prikyl, Mala Rybicya.

In the Khotinska territorial community, – the settlements of Kondrativka, Kostiantynivka, Stepne, Pershe Travnya, Oleksiivka, Volodymyrivka, Andriivka, Novomykolaivka, Bilovody, Vodolahy, Zhuravka, Veselivka, Khotin, Pysarivka.

In the Mykolaivska rural territorial community – the settlements of Yastrubyne, Hratske, Bondarivshchyna, Dibrova.

It is noted that the police, military, rescuers, and social services of local self-government and state authorities were involved in the forced evacuation of children and parents.

Recall that the Russian army systematically shells the Sumy border area. On the night of September 17, the Sumy region was subjected to a massive airstrike. An enemy drone attacked energy system objects. Critical infrastructure facilities such as water utilities, hospitals, etc., were connected to backup power systems.

For reference, earlier in the Sumy region, mandatory evacuation from Hlukhiv, Svesa, and Esman in the Shostka district had already been introduced.
