According to ТСН: In the Vinnytsia region, a woman struck a 12-year-old girl with a kitchen knife after the girl made a remark to her.

According to the investigation, the suspect was temporarily living with a friend’s family and was left alone with her friend’s children - aged 11 and 12. While drinking alcohol, the older girl made a remark to her.

In response, the woman grabbed a knife and struck the girl on the head. As a result of the attack, the child sustained a laceration to the forehead area and a concussion of the right eye.

The woman has been detained, and a motion for preventive measure in the form of pre-trial detention is being prepared.

Earlier, the police also detained a 12-year-old boy suspected of a fatal shooting.
