Transcarpathia: bodies of two tourists evacuated from Mount Hutyn Tomnatik.
According to inkorr.com: Over the weekend, rescuers from Transcarpathia received a message from their colleagues in the Ivano-Frankivsk region about the discovery of the bodies of two men in the mountainous area near Lake Brebeneskul, located on the slopes of Mount Hutyn Tomnatik in the Rakhiv district.
To transfer the deceased, specialists from various search and rescue mountain units were involved. They successfully evacuated the bodies and delivered them to the village of Vidrychka, where they were handed over to the morgue.
The deceased were two men, aged 41 and 36, from the Vinnytsia region. The reasons for the tragedy are currently unknown; however, rescuers urge to plan mountain routes carefully, check weather conditions, and timely inform rescuers about routes to avoid similar incidents in the future.
In addition, a 26-year-old tourist died in the mountains of Transcarpathia. During a hike, he sustained injuries in the mountainous area near the village of Kruhlyi in Rakhiv region.
These tragic events once again emphasize how important it is to adhere to safety during mountain hikes, to carefully plan routes, and to be prepared for potential risks.
