In Zhytomyr region, three children from one family died during a nighttime attack (updated).
Tragedy in Zhytomyr region: children died
During a massive combined nighttime attack on the Zhytomyr region, three children were killed, and another 12 people were injured. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the State Emergency Service (SES).
Updated. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko clarified that all children were from one family. Their parents have been hospitalized, and the mother is in serious condition.
In total, 10 people were injured in the attack, and eight were rescued by the SES, all of whom have been hospitalized.
Other regions also suffered from the attack
In the Berdychiv district, two people were injured (including one child), a five-story building, private homes, and outbuildings were damaged. Emergency services were working at the site.
Recall that during the night of May 25, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine. Kyiv was hit by 'Shahed' drones and missiles. There were damages and injuries in the capital. Kharkiv experienced three strikes, and a residential building in Mykolaiv was also affected. Additionally, there were missile strikes in Ternopil and the most massive strike since World War II in Konotop. Civil infrastructure in Khmelnytskyi region was also damaged, resulting in casualties and injuries.
The overall picture of destabilization and threats to the peaceful population of Ukraine is alarming. It is urgent to take measures to protect the nation from aggressive actions by Russia and ensure the safety of citizens.
