Suspicion against the acting general director of the KP 'Odesa International Airport'
According to inkorr.com: The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have filed charges against the acting general director of the KP 'Odesa International Airport' for causing multi-million losses to the company. According to the investigation, she deliberately failed to submit an application for airport certification, allowing a private company to profit from airlines while the municipal enterprise remained without revenue.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau noted that as a result of these actions, the city of Odesa suffered losses of over 15.6 million UAH. The actions of the suspect are classified under part 2 of article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and the investigation in this case is ongoing. Olha Makohonynik has been acting as the general director of KP 'Odesa International Airport' since 2017.
This situation demonstrates serious financial risks for the city due to the lack of necessary steps for airport certification.
