Pensions Supplements for Pensioners in August - Who Will Receive More.

In August 2025, pensions in Ukraine will not significantly increase, but some groups of pensioners will receive additional payments. For example, on the Independence Day, pensioners will be credited up to 3 thousand hryvnias.

The right to supplements is enshrined in Law 1058-IV 'On Mandatory State Pension Insurance'.

In August, various categories of pensioners will receive additional payments ranging from 450 to 3.1 thousand hryvnias, marking Independence Day. Among the recipients will be war participants, former prisoners of concentration camps, persons forcibly taken for labor, relatives of deceased war veterans, as well as other individuals with special merits to the country.Also, in August, pensioners living alone will be credited with a supplement of nearly 1 thousand hryvnias, depending on their age, loneliness, and state of health. For those raising underage children, an additional payment of 150 UAH per child is provided.Thus, the government of Ukraine has prepared certain additional payments for various categories of pensioners in August 2025, marking Independence Day and helping lonely citizens and parents raising children.
