Ukraine's Naftogaz Discontinues GASUA Chatbot for Gas Meter Readings.
New Procedures for Submitting Gas Meter Data
According to Novyny.live: Naftogaz of Ukraine has announced a significant update to its system for receiving household gas meter readings. The company has discontinued its GASUA chatbot service, which customers previously used for this purpose. A new mobile application called 'Kub' has been introduced as its primary replacement. This shift is part of a broader digital transformation effort within Ukraine's state-owned energy sector.
Available Methods for Submitting Readings
Customers of the subsidiary LLC 'Gazmerezhі' now have several options to submit their meter data:
- Using the new 'Kub' mobile app by selecting the 'Submit Meter Reading' option in the 'Home' section.
- Submitting readings via the Gas Transmission System Operator's website through a personal account.
- Calling the contact center at: 0 800 303 104.
A 1% fee will be applied to payments made through the 'Kub' app. It is important to note that customers can use other available payment methods without incurring any commission charges.
“The GASUA chatbot is no longer available for submitting meter readings. Please note that you can now submit your gas meter readings using the Kub application.” — A Naftogaz Representative
These procedural changes are designed to enhance customer convenience, streamline the submission process, and reduce the time required. Naftogaz of Ukraine continues to implement innovations to improve client services, adapting to modern demands and technological challenges.
The introduction of the 'Kub' app and the phase-out of the older chatbot form part of Naftogaz's broader strategy to modernize its services and embrace digital technology. This move likely aims to increase service efficiency, meet new standards in customer communications, and reduce the load on contact centers by providing users with a faster, more convenient way to submit their meter data.
