The Supervisory Board Dismissed the Head of Ukrenergo, Zaychenko: Reasons for the Decision.
The Supervisory Board made the decision to dismiss Vitaliy Zaychenko from the position of the head of NEC 'Ukrenergo'
According to inkorr.com: The reasons for this decision remain unknown for now. Temporarily, the responsibilities of the head of the company have been taken over by all members of the board.
Vitaliy Zaychenko has worked at 'Ukrenergo' since the 1990s and has risen from an engineer to the chief dispatcher of the unified energy system of Ukraine (since 2015). During the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion, his professional skills helped transition the Ukrainian energy system to isolated mode and connect it to the European ENTSO-E.
Thanks to the work of the team of dispatchers led by Vitaliy Zaychenko, control over Ukraine's energy system was maintained during Russian attacks on power plants and electricity transmission networks.
We remind you that on September 2, 2024, the previous supervisory board decided to dismiss Vladimir Kudritsky from the position of the head of NEC 'Ukrenergo'.
The decision of the supervisory board to dismiss Vitaliy Zaychenko was not accompanied by explanations. Biased positions or insufficient effectiveness may be potential reasons. We await further clarifications from the company and other participants in the situation.
This decision concerns changes in the management of a key energy company that plays an important role in the energy system of Ukraine. Having withstood during difficult trials, 'Ukrenergo' continues to be at the forefront of the country's energy stability. We observe how this intervention will affect the strategic decisions of the company in the future.
