Dnipro Mobilization Office Worker Stabbed in the Thigh During Document Check.
Dnipro Mobilization Center Employee Attacked
According to Novyny.live: On March 6, 2023, a 58-year-old man attacked a 24-year-old employee of a Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRC) in Dnipro. The assailant stabbed the soldier in the thigh during a routine document inspection. The victim was promptly hospitalized to receive medical treatment. These centers, often referred to as military recruitment or mobilization offices, have become focal points of public tension in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion.
Rising Violence Against Military Recruitment Staff
The detained suspect has been charged under Part 2 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This incident is part of a disturbing trend of violence against TRC personnel. Since the beginning of 2022, there have been 526 recorded attacks on staff at these centers. Already in 2024, the current year, 24 such attacks have been documented. The frequency of these assaults highlights the dangerous conditions faced by officials carrying out conscription duties. This pattern of violence underscores the urgent need for law enforcement and society to implement stronger protective measures for these workers and to improve overall security.
