Israeli settlers attacked Reuters journalists in the West Bank: details.
According to inkorr.com: Settlers from Israel attacked Palestinians, activists, and journalists during an olive harvest on the occupied territories of the West Bank. This is reported by Reuters.
Among the injured were also two Reuters staff members who were attacked with sticks and stones in the vicinity of the Palestinian village of Beita. Attacks have become regular during this year's olive harvest. A group of about a dozen settlers brutally attacked journalists and Palestinians, inflicting serious injuries on several people.
"Get out of here," the settlers shouted during the attack
According to the UN, Israeli settlers committed at least 264 attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank in October. This is the highest number since 2006, when the UN began recording such incidents.
A Ukrainian journalist documented instances of violence in an occupied Palestinian village where Israeli settlers attacked journalists and local residents collecting olives. These incidents indicate an escalation of the conflict in the West Bank, threatening the safety of many people.
The situation in the West Bank remains tense, and such incidents raise concerns among the international community. The pronounced violence during the olive harvest, which is traditionally the harvest season, reflects broader issues in the region, leading to the need for dialogue and conflict resolution to improve the lives of local residents.
