New NATO System Intercepted Air Bomb: Successful Tests in France.
According to inkorr.com: Recently, the NATO-Ukraine Joint Center for Analysis, Preparation and Education (JATEC) together with the NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) conducted a new phase of testing innovative techniques for protection against guided aerial bombs at a range in France. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
As a result of the tests, the operation of three components of the system was verified: a radar with a state-of-the-art sensor subsystem, artificial intelligence-based software, and an interceptor drone. These tools identified, tracked, and engaged the target, while the interceptor drone successfully executed the strike.
The development is being implemented by a consortium of defense companies from NATO member countries with the participation of Ukrainian specialists. The main goal of the project is to enhance the protection of Ukrainian military personnel and civilians from the most serious threats of modern warfare.
Within the framework of cooperation with NATO, Ukrainian specialists actively participated in testing new technical solutions for protection against aviation threats and are contributing to the development of a project that will improve security in Ukraine from potential attacks.
