Syriysky on the involvement of North Korean fighters in the invasion of Kursk

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syriysky, shared his impressions regarding the participation of soldiers from North Korea in the Russian aggression in the Kursk region. He emphasized that the North Korean militants joined the Russian occupation during the counteroffensive in this area.

'This was the first time Russia used troops from other countries on its territory. A group of up to 12,000 well-trained soldiers was formed. They were quite young, mostly under 30 years old. They underwent good training. All of them were very motivated, disciplined, and exhibited a high level of discipline. In some cases, they were even more dangerous than Russian servicemen. They fought to the last'
, the general explained.

According to Syriysky, the soldiers from North Korea turned out to be serious opponents, as they were highly motivated and blindly followed orders. Regarding the possibility of their deployment to other areas of the front in the future, the general noted that this remains uncertain for now.

Syriysky also talked about how the Russians managed to penetrate behind the lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region and discussed the key conditions for ending the war.

Summary: General Syriysky spoke about the participation of North Korean fighters on the side of Russian forces in the conflict in Kursk. He emphasized the high level of motivation and discipline among North Korean soldiers, who turned out to be serious opponents. At the same time, the possibility of their further deployment to other areas of the front remains an open question.
