Russia attacked Odesa region with drones: 36 thousand families left without electricity.

According to ТСН: On the night of December 2, Russia launched a mass drone strike in southern Odesa region, trying once again to hit civilian and energy infrastructure.

Air defense forces were active in the region, but unfortunately, there were several damages:

• an energy facility;
• an administrative building;
• individual households in the private sector.

“The fire was promptly extinguished by rescuers, however, the attack led to power outages. No information on casualties or injuries has been reported,” the message states.

Emergency services are actively working at the scene, with 11 resilience points functioning. Near critical infrastructure, they temporarily switched to generators.

According to DTEK, as a result of the attack on the energy facility, 8,000 families have been reconnected through backup schemes. However, another 36,300 people remain without electricity.

“Power engineers are already operating in an enhanced mode to restore electricity as quickly as possible,” the message noted.

Recall that on November 27, Russia also attacked the Odesa region with strike drones, leading to partial destruction of civilian infrastructure, including damages to the facades and windows of residential buildings, a horse sports club, and a gas station.

No information on victims or injuries from these attacks is available.
