Drones in the sky over Schleswig-Holstein, Germany

According to inkorr.com: On the night of September 26, several drones were detected over Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. Interior Minister Sabina Sütterlin-Waack announced the start of an investigation due to suspicions of espionage. This information was published by 'Glavkom', citing NDR.

The Ministry of the Interior is conducting 'intensive and ongoing negotiations' with the federal government and the Bundeswehr. Police are strengthening security measures against drones in collaboration with other German states in the north. However, the minister did not specify how many drones had been spotted and in what locations.

The situation with drones and airspace

The source of the drones' appearance remains unknown, and all relevant services are acting cautiously. 'The security situation has not changed', noted Sütterlin-Waack.

It is worth remembering that the airport in Aalborg in northern Denmark suspended flights on September 24 after detecting unknown drones in its airspace. Three other small airports in the south of the country - in Esbjerg, Sæby, and Vojens - also reported the appearance of drones, but continued their operations.

The events related to drones in Schleswig-Holstein and in Danish airports indicate a growing threat from the illegal use of drones in airspace. Countries are taking measures to ensure safety and are conducting investigations to avoid potential incidents.
