Germany cuts payments for Ukrainians: what will change from April 1st.
According to inkorr.com: The German government has decided to reduce social payments for Ukrainians immigrating to the country, starting from April 1, 2025. This new measure aims to encourage Ukrainians to find work more quickly after relocating.
New aid system
According to the new rules, Ukrainians will receive assistance under the Asylum Seekers Act, rather than social assistance as was previously the case for locals. Minimum payment amounts may vary, however, the new system is designed to help Ukrainians secure employment faster.
These changes could significantly impact Ukrainian immigrants in Germany, as they involve new conditions for receiving social assistance. This decision has become part of Germany's overall policy aimed at integrating immigrants into the labor market. Considering the current situation, such an initiative can be both support and a challenge for those seeking new opportunities in this country.
