Germany, the USA, Britain and France have lifted an important military restriction for Ukraine.
Germany has lifted restrictions on arms supplies to Ukraine
The Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, announced the lifting of restrictions on the range of weapons that Ukraine receives from Western partners. He announced this news on the WDR television channel.
There are no longer any restrictions on the range of weaponry supplied to Ukraine - neither from the British, nor from the French, nor from our side, nor from the Americans
According to Merz, Ukraine can now defend itself more effectively by striking military targets in Russia. The Chancellor emphasized the need to provide the country with the appropriate supplies of weapons. He also allowed for the possibility of transferring Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, but with the condition of agreement with European partners.
At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized that Donald Trump is aware of Russia's deception and highlighted the need to establish a 'final deadline' for a ceasefire agreement with Russia, threatening massive sanctions.
