Norwegian Aid for Ukrainians: Registration Opens February 16, 2026.
Financial Assistance for Vulnerable Groups
According to Novyny.live: Vulnerable Ukrainian citizens can apply for financial aid from the Norwegian Refugee Council. This support is crucial for many families facing economic hardship due to the ongoing conflict. The application window for payments will open on February 16, 2026, and all requests must be submitted by 12:00 PM Kyiv time on February 25, 2026.
This aid program is designed to support several vulnerable population groups, including:
- Families still residing in active combat zones;
- Households displaced from their homes by the war;
- Families who have returned to de-occupied territories.
Monthly payments will be 2,000 UAH for adults and 3,000 UAH for children and persons with disabilities.
For vulnerable categories with a per-person average monthly income of up to 10.38 thousand UAH, the assistance will be automatically renewed for six months. This represents a significant step in supporting those whose lives have been upended by the war. The Norwegian Refugee Council hopes these payments will help improve the financial stability of many Ukrainians during this difficult period.
International Support Program
This initiative is part of a broader international program to support Ukraine amid the protracted conflict and economic crisis. It aims not only to provide urgent financial relief but also to help restore stability for those affected by the war. Given the complex humanitarian situation in the region, such programs can substantially ease the burden on many families, enabling them to take the first steps toward rebuilding their lives.
