In Ternopil and the surrounding area, internally displaced persons will be provided with financial assistance from foreign partners. To be eligible, one must meet specific vulnerability criteria. This assistance is aimed, in particular, at those who have arrived from areas on the list of occupied territories or where hostilities were ongoing as of the end of 2024. Also taken into account are vulnerable categories such as people with disabilities, minor children with illnesses, single parents, pregnant women, the elderly, and others in difficult life circumstances. The assistance provided by benefactors is not part of a government program but is obtained from foreign partners. When submitting an application, it is necessary to thoroughly describe the reasons for the crisis situation, the factors hindering its resolution, and to provide documentary proof of belonging to a vulnerable category. Each application will be considered individually, but receiving assistance is not guaranteed due to the limited resources of the organization. In other regions of Ukraine, programs to support vulnerable households and internally displaced persons have also already been launched. Such initiatives are an important element of support for those experiencing difficult periods in their lives.
