According to Novyny.live: Starting in 2026, Ukrainian families with three or more children will qualify for a range of new benefits. These include discounts on housing and utility costs, as well as free medical services for children. To access these benefits, parents must first obtain an official large-family certificate, issued per Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 209. This certificate is provided to one parent and to children aged six and older.

Qualifying families will be eligible for a 50% discount on housing and utility services, landline telephone subscriptions, and fuel costs. Furthermore, children from these families will have access to:

• Annual medical check-ups;
• Free prescription medications;
• Free public transport;
• Free health resort stays;
• Monthly financial assistance for the third and each subsequent child under the age of six.

This financial support begins in the month a complete application and all required documents are submitted.

It is important to note that the payment of this assistance may be terminated under specific circumstances, including:

• Termination of parental rights;
• Neglect of child-rearing responsibilities;
• Misuse of funds;
• Loss of the large-family status;
• The death of a child.

The overarching goal of these new measures is to provide essential social guarantees and improve the living standards for families raising multiple children.
