In Novovolynsk, transportation subscriptions have been introduced: the price of a trip fell to 11 hryvnias.
According to inkorr.com: In Novovolynsk, residents can purchase a public transport subscription, which will enable them to save on each trip. Mayor Borys Karpus reported this, emphasizing that tickets can be purchased using the existing City Card.
This is reported by 'Konkurent Volyn'.
Terms and Prices
The subscription allows purchasing trips at a discounted price. There are two packages available:
- 50 trips for 600 UAH (12 UAH per trip), validity period – 90 days.
- 100 trips for 1100 UAH (11 UAH per trip), validity period – 180 days.
The subscription can be purchased using an already issued plastic City Card, which helps to avoid unnecessary processing.
The mayor noted that the introduction of subscriptions is part of the modernization of the transport system, aimed at reducing travel costs for residents.
How to Pay
The subscription can be paid for in two ways:
- via a terminal at the social policy department (select the 'City Card Subscription' function)
- via bank transfer – details can be obtained from the City Card hotline (the number is indicated on the back of the card).
This format allows for convenient usage of transport, planning expenses and saving on regular city trips.
Similar systems are gradually being implemented in other cities of Ukraine, but Novovolynsk has become one of the leaders in expanding the possibilities of electronic payment for transport.
According to the mayor, this approach will promote the switch to digital services and reduce cash transactions in transport.
The introduction of subscriptions signifies positive changes in the transport sector and the local authorities' desire to make trips more accessible for residents. Broader access to electronic services will simplify the use of public transport, which in turn should positively impact the quality of life for city dwellers.
