The legendary album cover of David Bowie is being auctioned: valued at 300 thousand pounds.
According to Korrespondent.net: The cover of David Bowie's sixth album titled Aladdin Sane is up for auction in London. According to The Independent, the sale will be conducted by Bonhams from October 22 to November 5.
Value of the cover
This famous photograph, taken by Brian Duffy, depicting Bowie with a lightning bolt on his face, is considered one of the most iconic album covers in music history. It is valued at approximately 300 thousand pounds sterling (over 405 thousand dollars). If it is successfully sold, it could become the most expensive album cover at auction, surpassing the record set by Led Zeppelin's debut record, which was sold for 325 thousand dollars in 2020.

- the original Hasselblad 500C camera used by Duffy;
- two contact sheets from the Aladdin Sane shoot;
- a stool that Bowie sat on in 1973.
