Ukrainian defenders returned home
Today, the third stage of the large-scale exchange of prisoners under the formula '1000 for 1000' has been completed, as a result of which 303 Ukrainian defenders returned home. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported that among them are 70 defenders of Mariupol, including 33 heroic defenders of 'Azovstal', writes 'Glavkom'.
Ukraine successfully completed the third stage of the prisoner exchange under the formula '1000 for 1000', bringing back 303 Ukrainian soldiers from Russian captivity. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this.
Today, the third stage of the exchange '1000 for 1000' was completed. 303 of our warriors returned from captivity – soldiers and sergeant staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Airborne Assault Forces, State Border Guard Service, Territorial Defense, Naval Forces, National Guard. Among them are 70 defenders of Mariupol, including 33 defenders of 'Azovstal', - Umerov noted.
