According to UATV: On June 22, 2023, Russian forces launched artillery and drone strikes against the Kherson region, leaving five people injured. Among the wounded is an official from the regional state administration. As of 5:30 PM that day, four casualties were reported in the city of Kherson, and one in the village of Molodetske.
The attacks caused damage to multiple structures, including:
- private homes and apartment buildings;
- an administrative building;
- a cultural facility;
- a preschool;
- a warehouse;
- a truck;
- a passenger car.
These events have sparked public outrage. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented:
