The situation in Kyiv after the attack

According to ТСН: In Kyiv, after a massive attack, the situation has become complicated. The city is facing interruptions in heat and water supply.

The mayor of the capital, Vitali Klychko, addressed the city residents.

"I appeal to the capital's residents, those who can temporarily leave the city, where there are alternative sources of power and heat, to do so," his message states.

According to him, about half of the apartment buildings in Kyiv, almost 6 thousand, remain without heat supply due to damage to the city's critical infrastructure. Water supply interruptions are also observed.

Utility services have already restored heat supply to social institutions, including hospitals and maternity homes, using mobile boilers. Together with energy workers, they are working to restore electricity and heat supply to residential buildings in Kyiv. City services are operating in emergency mode.

As a result of the events in Kyiv, four people died, and 25 were injured. Damages include 19 high-rise buildings, one of the embassies, shattered windows in a kindergarten, and damage to a tram depot, an unfinished high-rise building, cars, a supermarket, and a gas station. Destruction of residential buildings and casualties have also been recorded in the region.

Emergency power cuts have been introduced in the capital.

The situation in Kyiv remains tense. Local services are trying to restore infrastructure while residents adapt to new conditions. Citizens are urged to exercise caution and monitor official messages, as recovery may take some time.
