Odesa Expands Housing Application Services to Administrative Centers.
New Services at Odesa's Administrative Service Centers
According to Novyny.live: Starting January 23, 2023, Odesa's Centers for Administrative Services (TsNAPs) have begun accepting applications for citizens to register for housing assistance and to receive housing assignment orders. This marks a significant change, as these services were previously available only through district administrations, which created access barriers for many residents. This expansion is part of broader efforts to streamline social services in Ukraine.
Residents can now submit their applications based on their actual place of residence or official registration within Odesa. Priority attention is being given to specific groups, including:
- internally displaced persons,
- combat veterans,
- people with disabilities,
- family members of fallen Ukrainian defenders.
A housing assignment order can be issued based on an official decision to provide housing.
Application Procedure
Appointments at TsNAPs are conducted strictly by prior booking through an electronic queue system. For convenience, several booking methods are available: via the official Odesa TsNAP website, by calling the contact center at 705-55-55, or through the MISTO mobile application. These innovations aim to simplify the housing acquisition process for eligible individuals.
The introduction of these services at Odesa's TsNAPs represents a crucial step in improving housing access for vulnerable populations, particularly during wartime. It is expected to help more citizens in need obtain necessary housing documents more swiftly, which can positively impact their social adaptation and quality of life. Furthermore, the use of electronic services simplifies the application process, reducing queues and administrative hurdles for applicants.
