A resident of Odessa received a bill for half a million for parking a BMW: how it happened.
Parking for half a million
A resident of Odessa left his BMW in a paid parking lot in an elite area - Arcadia. The car stood there for quite a long time and now the man has to pay more than half a million hryvnias for the parking space.
The video is spreading on social networks.
The city dweller parked his car at Gagarinn Plaza in Arcadia. After 209 days, he suddenly remembered about his car which had been standing in this parking lot for more than half a year. During all this time, he will have to pay 502,750 hryvnias for using the space.
'And how am I going to pay now?', says the upset owner in the video.
Parking in Odessa costs 30 hryvnias per hour. However, at private parking lots, one of which the man used, the cost of parking is much higher.
We remind you that recently we wrote about the closure of a crossing due to an emergency section. We also talked about the new markings in Arcadia.
Forgetting about a parked car can turn out to be extremely costly, especially if it happens in expensive private parking lots. In the case of the Odessan, the price for carelessness amounts to over half a million hryvnias.
