A rally in support of military and civilians who remain in Russian captivity took place in Odessa. Relatives of the missing and residents of the city gathered to honor the memory and remind about those who have not yet returned home. According to Novyny.LIVE correspondent, on Saturday, August 16, Odessites gathered on Deribasivska Street with posters and flags to support the captives and the missing.

The event's organizer, Anna Pazhera, noted that it is necessary not to forget about those who still remain in captivity and to demand their release from their captors.
'Not everyone is home yet. There should be more and more exchanges. We are already seeing certain shifts, and this is very good. But we continue to fight for our relatives,' she said.
Many participants of the rally have no news from their relatives who went missing or ended up in captivity.
Among them is Oksana, who lost contact with her husband back in March.
It is also known that in Odessa, activists made the Utyosov monument 'cry' bloody tears and reported on the intensification of attacks by 'Shaheds' on the Odesa region from the Russians.
Supporting the military and civilians left in Russian captivity in Odessa shows the importance of memory and support for those who continue to fight for the release of their relatives. The participation of city residents and relatives of the missing in such rallies helps not only to raise public awareness of the issue of prisoners but also encourages actions to ensure their release.Read also
