Major of Kharkiv Institute insults son of POW: an investigation has been initiated.
Outrage on social media over the actions of the major
According to inkorr.com: The situation around the major of the National Technical University 'Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute' is becoming increasingly dramatic. A user under the pseudonym of officer Galenko expressed his outrage at the behavior of Major Serhiy Cherevka of the Military Institute of Tank Troops. The reason was the humiliation suffered by a young cadet, the son of a serviceman, who is fighting for honor and supporting POWs. The instructor demanded that he free his father from Russian captivity.
In anger, the cadet published a screenshot of the insulting remarks made by Serhiy Cherevka, which were discussed in a chat among hundreds of people. This is just one of many unacceptable actions by the major that students of the institute are complaining about. It is pleasing that higher military authorities have noticed the situation and have already initiated a service check.
It is important that such a reaction from military structures indicates a sensitivity to problems that arise in educational institutions. This situation illustrates how crucial it is to provide support for those who risk their lives on the front lines, and the consequences that neglecting ethical standards in the educational process can have.
