Military Official Accused of Evasion Scheme Declares Assets: BMW, Apartments, and a Major Loan.

According to TSN.ua: The head of the Kremenchuk District Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC), Oleksandr Maznytskyi, has filed his 2025 income declaration, revealing his assets while also facing suspicion of aiding an organized scheme to avoid military mobilization. This case emerges amid heightened scrutiny of public officials during Ukraine's ongoing war effort.
According to the declaration, Maznytskyi's wife owns two apartments in Khmelnytskyi:
- The first apartment is 59 square meters in size and valued at 245,000 hryvnias;
- The second apartment, measuring 46.9 square meters, is valued at 46,891 hryvnias.
Since January 31, 2025, the family has been renting an apartment in Kremenchuk. Furthermore, in the village of Ustia, Chortkiv district, Ternopil region, Maznytskyi's wife owns a residential house of 151.1 square meters, purchased on July 4, 2023, for 400,000 hryvnias. A land plot of 0.2464 hectares was acquired together with the house.
Oleksandr Maznytskyi also owns a 2-hectare land plot in the village of Chemerivtsi, Khmelnytskyi region. In 2025, he possessed a 2021 BMW X3 vehicle valued at 880,000 hryvnias. Over the year, Maznytskyi received a salary of 500,526 hryvnias, as well as 16,150 hryvnias in income from property rentals. He also received charitable or humanitarian aid amounting to 1,600 hryvnias.
Loan and Allegations
A significant part of the declaration details a loan of 844,000 hryvnias taken by Oleksandr Maznytskyi on December 23, 2025. Maznytskyi has now also been formally notified that he is suspected of facilitating an organized scheme to evade mobilization.
The situation surrounding Oleksandr Maznytskyi underscores the critical need for transparency in the financial affairs of officials, especially during wartime when mobilization is a matter of national importance.
The suspicion of involvement in mobilization evasion is likely to provoke public outcry and raises serious questions about the ethical conduct of military structure leadership. Such cases can have severe consequences not only for the individual but also for public trust in the institutions responsible for the country's defense.
