Financial Assistance for People in Okhtyrka
According to Novyny.live: Starting March 18, 2026, residents of Okhtyrka can apply for financial support from UNHCR Ukraine. This initiative is designed to help vulnerable groups, including people with official internally displaced person (IDP) status and those who have returned from abroad.
Each household member will receive 3,600 UAH per month for three months, offering some financial stability during these challenging times. To qualify, a household’s monthly income must not exceed 6,300 UAH per person.
How to Apply for the Aid
To register for the program, Okhtyrka residents can call 063 182 68 38. Applications are also accepted in person at 2-A Parkova Street in Okhtyrka, with office hours from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Eligible groups include:
- single-parent families,
- elderly people living alone,
- elderly individuals caring for children,
- families with members who have special needs.
This program is a key step in supporting the most vulnerable members of the community.
