Russians launched 491 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region: 3 dead and destruction.
During the day, Russian occupiers carried out 491 strikes on 15 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in the deaths of three people and one injury.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.
Attack on Zaporizhzhia - what is known about the destruction
In particular, the Russians carried out four airstrikes on Plavny, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, and Bilohirya. Additionally, 322 unmanned aerial vehicles of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Bilenke, Hryhorivka, Kamianske, Huliaypole, Orihiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.
Russia also carried out six shelling attacks with missile artillery systems on Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, and Mala Tokmachka. The enemy also inflicted 159 artillery strikes on the territory of Bilenke, Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Huliaypole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Malynivka.
There were 15 recorded instances of damage to houses, apartments, non-residential premises, and vehicles.
It is worth noting that on August 9, a Russian drone hit a shopping center in Kharkiv, resulting in injuries to five people, including a 17-year-old girl. The occupiers also attacked a bus in a suburb of Kherson around 08:30, where all victims were inside the vehicle.
Reports of massive strikes by Russia on settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region confirm the advance of Russian troops in the region, which has led to human casualties and destruction.
