Russian occupiers shelled Kharkiv
On the night of September 9, around three o'clock in the morning, Russian occupiers shelled Kharkiv, launching several guided air bombs at the city. This was reported by Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
«Preliminarily – several strikes on the city with KABs. Information on the victims is being collected. At one of the impact sites, there is a fire», – he wrote on Telegram.
According to local public channels, enemy aircraft movement was detected towards Kharkiv before the shelling. Explosions were also heard by residents of the city's suburbs.
As a result of the shelling, civilian infrastructure was damaged. Exact data on the destruction and the number of victims are being clarified.
The city authorities urge residents to follow safety rules, not to ignore air raid signals, and to stay in shelters during shelling.
