Occupiers shelled a village in Kharkiv region: there is a deceased.
On Thursday, September 19, Russian troops shelled the village of Vilcha in the Chuhuiv district of the Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, an 85-year-old man died, on his birthday. This was reported on the official Facebook page of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, on the afternoon of September 19, Russian troops shelled the village of Vilcha in the Chuhuiv district. A man died: today he turned 85. Residential buildings and administrative buildings in the settlement were damaged.
The Chuhuiv District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv region has started a pre-trial investigation on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder. In addition to the death of the person, residential buildings and administrative buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling.
The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine assures that prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible measures to document war crimes committed by Russian military personnel.
