Occupiers shelled the Sloviansk community with cluster munitions.
On August 25, on the outskirts of the Sloviansk community, particularly in the Northern neighborhood, a shelling with cluster munitions occurred. This was reported by the head of the Sloviansk city military administration, Vadym Lyakh.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the shelling. However, significant damage was done to the infrastructure: buildings of a private enterprise and a municipal transport company were damaged, as well as a municipal garbage truck.
The explosions led to a fire that engulfed a forest strip and a field. Firefighters from the State Emergency Service are working at the scene.
Local authorities urge residents to remain calm and be cautious.
Earlier it was reported that three journalists were injured as a result of the shelling of Kramatorsk: citizens of Ukraine, the USA, and the United Kingdom.
Incidents in other regions of Ukraine
In Kharkiv, a shelling also took place, resulting in six people being injured. This happened in the Slobidskyi district of the city.
The residential sector of the city of Chuhuiv was attacked. Among the injured was a four-year-old child who had an acute stress reaction. She did not require hospitalization. Two women were also assisted at the scene.
On the evening of August 24, the city of Sumy was subjected to an air missile strike by Russian forces. As a result of two hits, at least seven people were injured, two of whom are in serious condition.
