The occupiers began to treat drones with chemicals - OTH "Kharkiv".
OTH "Kharkiv" reports that the enemy has begun to treat their drones with a chemical substance that causes chemical burns on contact.
Commander of the strike unmanned aerial systems battalion "Achilles" of the 92nd separate assault brigade named after Ataman Sirko Yurii Fedorenko confirmed this information on Hromadske Radio: "The enemy uses all possible means of armament that can help them destroy Ukrainians. They do not follow any global rules of warfare. Therefore, the enemy uses everything except nuclear weapons. This includes white phosphorus and toxic substances. This is a new tactic that the enemy uses. At first, the Russians mined their UAVs, now they treat them with additional chemicals. The goal is to maximize the poisoning of our military, including with the help of chemical burns. Therefore, the rules at the front are simple - do not take anything in hand".
He reminded that Ukraine cannot use certain means, such as toxic substances and antipersonnel marking:
"In our case, the situation is a little different. We are signatories of several conventions. We have ratified them in our country. Therefore, we have to grow in capabilities and efforts with the means that we can work with. Unmanned systems today are an indispensable tool for enemy reconnaissance, detection, and highly effective precise destruction".
