Recently, Ukrainian forces made advances near Borovaya, while Russian troops continued their offensive towards Kup'yansk, Borovaya, Lyman, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhove. This was reported in the ISW analysts' report.

UAF Operation in the Kursk Region

On February 3, Russian troops continued their offensive on Ukrainian positions in the Kursk region but had no success. According to Russian sources, fighting occurred near Sverdlikova, Maryevka, Pogribki (all northwest of Sudzha) and Lebedevka (southeast of Korenevo).

Although Russia claimed successful advances, ISW analysts were unable to confirm this information.

Kharkiv Region

Russian troops continued trying to attack northeast of Kharkiv, near Vovchansk and Khatyshche on February 2 and 3, but did not achieve success. Ukrainian counterattacks were also recorded in Vovchansk and near Hlyboke (north of Kharkiv).

Luhansk Region

On February 3, Russian troops continued minor advances in the Kup'yansk direction. The occupants also continued to attack east of Kup'yansk, near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Stepova Novoselivka on February 2 and 3.

While Russian milbloggers claimed progress for Russian forces, ISW analysts could not confirm this information.

On February 3, both Russian and Ukrainian forces were noted to have advanced towards Borovaya. Russian troops conducted attacks northeast of Borovaya, near Zahryzove, Bohuslavka, Lozova; east of Borovaya, near Novoyegorivka; and southeast of Borovaya, near Makiyivka and Novolyubivka on February 2 and 3. According to geolocation footage, Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the center of Zahryzove.

According to geolocation footage published on February 3, Russian troops advanced in the eastern part of Zahryzove. Russian troops continued to attack northeast of Lyman, near Yampilivka and Ternivka, as well as southeast of Lyman towards Serebryanka and in the Serebryansky forest region on February 2 and 3.

Donetsk Region

On February 3, Russian troops continued their offensive in the Siversky direction but had no success. On February 2 and 3, the occupants continued to attack northeast of Siversk, near Bilohorivka, east of Siversk, near Verkhnokam'yanka and Zolotarivka, and southeast of Siversk, near Ivanodarivka.

Russian troops also advanced towards Chasiv Yar on February 3. The occupants continued to attack in Chasiv Yar and south of Chasiv Yar near Predtechyne on February 2 and 3. According to geolocation footage published on February 2, Russian troops recently advanced on Dniprovskaya Street in the center of Chasiv Yar.

On February 3, occupants advanced in the Toretsky direction. On February 2 and 3, Russian troops continued to attack near Toretsk, northeast of Toretsk, near Krymske, and west of Toretsk, near Shcherbynivka.

Russian troops also continued their offensive in the Pokrovsk direction. They attacked east of Pokrovsk, near Zelenopil'ya, Vodyane Druhe, Tarasivka, Myrolyubivka, Malynivka, and Promin; southeast of Pokrovsk, near Lysivka; and southwest of Pokrovsk, near Kotlyarivka, Yelizavetivka, Udachne, Uspenivka, Novolukashivka, and Sribne on February 2 and 3.

South

Russian troops conducted limited attacks in the western Zaporizhzhia region, near Novodanylivka (north of Robotyne), Shcherbynivka, and Kam'yanske (both northwest of Robotyne) on February 2 and 3, but without success. The occupants managed to advance to islands in the Dnipro delta during attacks in this area on February 3. Russian troops also conducted limited attacks directly east of Kherson, near Antonivka and Pridniprovsk.

According to geolocation footage published on February 1, Russian troops recently advanced in the eastern part of the island of Great Potemkin (southwest of Kherson).
